The Birches has achieved status as an "Excellence in Care Program of Distinction" for its Alzheimer's and Memory Care program, Encore.

The Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) recently awarded its "Excellence in Care Dementia Program of Distinction" status to six United States assisted living facilities, all of whom have achieved AFA's nationwide standard of excellence for facilities that provide care to individuals with Alzheimer's disease or related illnesses.
