"Although my sister's stay was only a few short months as we intended, your staff was there to deliver expert service. During her final days, your staff walked the halls softly, touching our hearts and soul with their love and concern for Gerri and for my wife. While the service was impeecable, the gift of your outstanding staff was a golden gift to us." Don Z. family member, personal letter, 03/10/17.
"A Wonderful Place for Mom. The Birches is a wonderful place to live. Its not too big and all of the staff from the front desk, to the wonderful ladies in the dining room to the cleaning lady and the medical staff and the maintenance team are all special caring people. Mom has been living here for over 4 years and she loves it...." Family Member, Senioradvisor.com Review, 01/2017
"....After looking at several assisted living communities, my family & I decided The Birches would be a good fit for our sister. My sister arrived at the Birches in August 2016. The building is clean, well cared for, beautiful & homey. The staff is incredible. Everyone is so caring and friendly and takes time to get to know their residents. The restaurant-style dining feels so special (white table cloths are used) and the menus offer great variety. There are activities everyday for residents to participate in as well as many outings each month. My sister has gone to Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo, horseback riding in October 2016, The Morton Arboretum, an LTHS Holiday Choral & Orchestra performance, just to name a few. There is a visiting primary care doctor & a couple of visiting podiatrists. RA's & nurses are so helpful. My sister receives physical therapy & occupational therapy and all of that in-house care is a big help to our family. We are very grateful to have our sister living in such a caring community!!"
