Careers at The Birches Assisted Living

At The Birches, we have a nice building and attractive decor, but we think our associates make us special and unique. If you think you might have what it takes to help make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families, we'd like to consider you. 

Here are brief descriptions of some of the positions at The Birches and the current status of availability. We accept applications at any time and will retain them for one year.

Food Server / Dishwasher- Part Time

As The Birches Dining Room server or dishwasher, you are creating an environment in which our residents and their families can enjoy together and create lasting memories. 

Activities Assistant

Part-time: 1 opening

Generally 20-24 hours per week; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays 9am-5pm

The primary purpose of your job position is to implement the programming that allows successful aging for our residents and their families. This position is responsible for building and supporting meaningful relationships with our residents that will allow residents to grow regardless of their age or physical or cognitive abilities. 

Resident Assistant or CNA

Full Time & Part-time 3-11 p.m.

And as a community, we work together to support our residents to discover what’s possible and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Resident Assistant you will be at the center of what we do best, caring for the residents with passion and dedication and building meaningful relationships to add values to their lives as you provide scheduled and unscheduled assistance to residents with activities of daily living. We are looking for a CNA (or resident assistant with experience in long term care) available to work our 3-11 p.m. shift in our designated Memory Care Neighborhood.  Must be available to work every other weekend, and holidays as needed.

Receptionist

PRN; 1 opening

 PRN:  As needed for emergencies, sick leave, and vacations (no permanent shift at this time)

We are looking for a calm, personable, independent, compassionate, and responsible individual to work our front desk. Shifts vary between 8a-4:30p or 4:30p-9p 7 days a week. Must be available and flexible to work weekends and holidays if needed.
