#### The Alzheimer's Association works every day to:

**Provide care and support  
**to affected families through education, programs and outreach.

**Advance research**  
by funding critical studies and convening and connecting scientists around the world.

**Advocate**  
for the rights and needs of all those facing Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

### For over 15 years, Team Birches has been participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's

As part of our community's commitment to raise awareness about dementia and to help in the fight to bring an end to this devastating disease.

We walk for the men and women with memory support needs that we assist at Birches Assisted Living and Memory care as well as the millions of people worldwide who are affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias. And we pay a special remembrance to our many senior friends whom we have loved and lost to [dementia](https://www.birches.net/resources-for-senior-living/dementia-and-alzheimers-whats-the-difference) over the years. We cherish the time we have spent with them and work in their honor to find a cure.
