At The Birches, we like to provide our residents with unique experiences.
Today we had The Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab and Education team visit with our residents to discuss their mission, rescue, and to teach us the benefits of Birds of Prey in our neighborhoods. As you can see, our residents enjoyed the presentation and the interactive displays.
About the Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab and Education
They are a non-profit, volunteer run, Federal & State licensed organization dedicated to rehabilitation of injured, sick and orphaned birds of prey with the goal of returning healthy birds back to the wild.
They focus on educating the public about wildlife, conservation, ecology and habitats in the forum of utilizing "live" birds of prey and other biological tools.
