The Birches Elves are helping the Clarendon Hills Chamber of Commerce get ready for their 65th Anniversary Christmas Walk Friday, December 3rd, by creating Chamber coupon gift bags for guests!
Stop by the Christmas Walk & Holiday Market between 5-9 pm tomorrow and soak in the holiday spirit (or whatever you’d like to say!)
The 65th Anniversary Christmas Walk & Holiday Market kicks off with Local Merchant Shopping beginning at 5 pm and the Tree lighting at 6 pm in front of Village Hall.
Enjoy all that the Christmas Walk & Holiday Market have to offer, including strolling carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, roasted chestnuts, refreshments, a visit with Santa, photo-ops with the Grinch & Scrooge, 65 years of history displayed by the Clarendon Hills Historical Society, and of course - Holiday Shopping!
Schedule of Events and Features
5:00 pm Outdoor Holiday Market Opens
Local Merchants and the Outdoor Holiday Market with Vendors in heated tents Open at 5pm for Your Holiday Shopping!
6:00 pm: Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Village Hall
Our Traditional Christmas Walk begins with the annual Tree Lighting in front of Village Hall at 6 pm. Holiday Harmony Strolling Carolers create the perfect backdrop for your holiday shopping experience.
6:30 - 8:30 pm: Visit Santa
Head to the Village Triangle to see Santa and bring your camera to take photos! Santa arrives at 6:30 pm and will pack up and head back to the North Pole at 8:30 pm.
6:00 - 9:00 pm: Clarendon Hills Historical Society Presents: Clarendon Hills Christmas Past (2 S Prospect Ave)
The Clarendon Hills Historical Society & Mike McCurry Group have a special Christmas Carol Themed Feature you want to be sure to see!
7:00 - 9:00 pm: Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
Horse-drawn carriage rides are available at two locations, both North & South of the tracks, with loading by Village Hall and 200 Park Avenue.
Take Your Photo With the Grinch and Scrooge!
Find the Grinch North of the tracks and Scrooge South of the tracks for a fun photo op! Be on the lookout for the Windy City Ghostbusters as they scour the town looking for the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future.
